Does anyone knows whats the use of "post subject" with "dots, dashes or underscores" ?
And the settings flood delay? forum timeout?

1. It's automatically replaces "dots" or "dashes" or "underscores" (depends on settings) in your subject with spaces.

For example you have a subject:

Hostel_2005_(Horror_DVDR)

So if you have checked to replace dots with spaces you subject will be automatically altered and posted the following:

Hostel 2005 (Horror DVDR)

2. Flood delay is used when you post to the same forum.

For example, you post a reply to own thread, and immediately after it another (to the same forum), so your second reply won't be posted immediately, but the flood delay timer will be ticking backwards.

3. Forum timeout is the seconds forum is expected to give a response.

If you have reasonable fast internet speed, a default of 5 seconds works always fine. Usually if a forum is dead / offline it won't respond in 5 seconds and in program will see a error that forum did not respond.
