| Post subject: | Will moving to SSL affect themaPoster users? |
I have a general question about one of the forums i help moderate. The admin suggested that he is thinking of moving to cloudflare and it uses SSL. So my question is. What happens when i move to SSL? I know our forum has many people using automatic posters such as ThemPoster. Does this mean after the move to SSL since everyone is using http:// they will start recieving errors? unless they update their ThermaPost link to post in https:// ? I heard cloudflare is faster and safer, but i'm worried about SSL affecting themaPoster What's your advice about this, |

Hi, it will work fine with SSL. If you redirect all requests from http:// to https:// the URL in the program must be changed: * User can change the URL manually * If user has enabled the "Check websites for domain changes" option (it's enabled by default) the URL will be automatically changed to correct URL with https:// when performing check (once per hour or on start-up of the program). |
