 Post subject: Automatically capturing frames every X seconds?

FOR VIDEOS

Is there a way I can get the some player(or program) to take a snapshot/screenshot and thumbnail say every .5 second and save it in a directory I chose?

p.s. Media Player Classic doesnt do this. (or i couldnt find where can i find it)
