Hi,

"Check For Duplicate Subject Before Posting"

Is there a way to leave this unchecked and have it as an option for each topic?
I assume this option is a rule for ALL Forums and ALL topics added in TP when ticked.

Sometimes/Often I randomize the post order and I do not post the same posts to all forums at the same time so to avoid posts not being posted it would be great to enable this per topic.

I am unsure what will happen if I post POST_A to FORUM_A today and then in 1 week want to post POST_A to FORUM_B.

It's already based per forum.

If you try to "POST_A" with the same subject after one week to "FORUM_B" (different forum) you won't see a warning since that's totally different forum (it's fine to post the same posts to different forums).

If you try to post "POST_A" again to "FORUM_B" (or "FORUM_A") only then it will show the warning (or skip, based on your settings).

You can disable it in "CONFIG" -> "General posting".

Hi,

Sorry to bring this up again but I am having problems posting the same subjects/posts to multiple forums when they are not posted at the same time to all forums.

I have been posting in 1 forum for a while and then 2 months later want to start posting in another forum - the same posts but I get an error now saying "Skipped. Subject was already posted before. [WR]"

But it was not posted in that forum before so thats confusing me.

EDIT:
When I right click and chose Retry Post in ->"Status" -> "Active" tab then its posted to the forum but thats not how it should be I think.

Hi,

tested. Everything seems to be fine.

Make sure you're using the latest version (4.71 at the moment).

You can preview current posted subjects history for forum in "WEBSITES" -> select needed site -> "Manage" tab -> "Posted subjects history".

Make sure it's not there. If it's not -> then make sure that there is no status in "STATUS" -> "HISTORY" -> with the same forum and subject.

Those two places are checked (the posted history for site and history statuses [the site must be the same]).
