You can do that with replacements.

General (for all messages) in "CONFIG" -> "Replacements".
For specific forum -> "FORUMS" -> "Replacements".

Just add replacement like this:

Search for:

Code:

house

Replace with:

Code:

{house|dwelling|residence}

This basically makes what you want.

dwelling => {house|dwelling|residence}
residence => => {house|dwelling|residence}

You only need to add one replacement:
house => {house|dwelling|residence}

That's all.

Enable regex search.

This would work as you want.
